Bernadette Marks, the Swords local historian who has done most to preserve and promote the history of the town and surroundings recently posted this fantastic snapshot of the town/village in 1985. My own family did not yet live in the town though we had a business there and some of my early, happy memories pertain to Swords at this time. Enjoy!
